The first step towards receiving a Study Permit in Canada, is to get accepted by a Canadian school, college or university. Once accepted to an institution, an individual is then able to apply for a Study Permit in Canada. When applying for a Study Permit, and individual must be able to provide a letter of acceptance to a Canadian institution, provide proof of identity and provide proof that the applicant has sufficient funds to support themselves while in Canada as well as, be able to afford the tuition fees for an International Student.
